Our Story – The Essence of Pure Honey
Welcome to The Honey Company, where our mission is to reconnect you with the natural and pure form of honey, just as nature intended. Born from a realization of the market’s need for genuine, unprocessed honey, we stand as a beacon of authenticity in an industry overshadowed by adulterated products.
Our Journey
It all started with a conversation about the widespread use of high fructose corn syrup in commercial honey. Determined to change this, we ventured into the diverse terrains of India, partnering with tribal honey extractors and local beekeepers. Our goal was simple yet profound – to offer honey in its purest form, packed with all its natural goodness.
Our Process – Purity in Every Jar
At The Honey Company, every drop of honey speaks of our commitment to purity. Strained, not filtered, to retain all the beneficial properties, our honey is a reservoir of nutrients, just as the bees made it. From the wild forests of Kashmir to the lush orchards of Himachal, we bring you honey that is as varied as the landscapes it comes from.
Sustainable Practices – For a Better Tomorrow
Sustainability is not just a word for us; it’s a promise. We engage in ethical honey extraction methods that respect both nature and the livelihoods of our tribal and farmer partners. By choosing us, you’re not just enjoying pure honey; you’re supporting a network of small-scale beekeepers and contributing to a healthier environment.
Our Vision – Sweetening Lives, Naturally
As we expand our presence on platforms like Amazon and Flipkart, our vision remains steadfast – to make The Honey Company a household name for pure, raw honey while advocating for healthier, sugar-reduced diets.

WHERE DOES THE HONEY COMPANY® RAW HONEY COME FROM
The origin of The Honey Company® pure raw honey varieties comes from two sources.
- Traditional tribal honey extractors: While they are familiar with location of hives and are experts in honey extraction, they are now trained to extract honey from forests without destroying entire hives, thanks to experts in the field. Here you have to know that only 30-40% of the beehive has honey that is ready to be harvested, and the part of the hive that has ‘harvest ready honey’ is easily identified by these experts and they cut out only that portion of the hive for extraction. The rest of the live is left undisturbed. The honey comb is lighter in colour and on the outside of the hive. The brood comb tends to be darker and inside the hive. From these sources we have curated our premium line of raw wild forest honey. These honeys come to us from the forests of Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Nepal, Ladakh, West Bengal, Punjab, Uttarakand, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Maharastra, Karnataka, Tamilnadu and Kerala.
- Apiaries: Beekeepers who install their bee boxes in fields and orchards during the flowering season of the crops. One of the reasons The Honey Company® supports apiculture or bee keeping is because it is highly beneficial to farmers. Bees foraging for nectar in fields and orchards contributes greatly to pollination and not only increases the crop yield and also enhances the quality of the yield. So when you buy raw honey sourced from bee keepers, you support the livelihoods and wellbeing of people tied to agriculture.
